Tanya is an experienced director and actor. She was Resident Director on the Australasian production of Matilda the Musical, and as co-artistic director of Ride On Theatre has directed in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, as well as Auckland, New York and Los Angeles.

She has directed for the mainstage at Sydney Theatre Company, Griffin Theatre Company, Malthouse Theatre and Ensemble Theatre.
