On a broader acting level, in a career spanning over 25 years Barry has played both lead and supporting roles in numerous television and film productions, including The Eye of the Storm directed by Fred Schepisi, The Mystery of Natalie Wood direct by Peter Bogdanovich, the Multi-award winning feature Kiss or Kill directed by Bill Bennett, The Brides of Christ, Escape of The Artful Dodger, Murder in the Outback, All Saints and many many more.
Barry's rich baritone vocals have seen him strike the boards in a number of epic musicals including the Australian premiere production of Les Miserables directed by Trevor Nunn, the Australian premiere production of Titanic, and the acclaimed international touring production of Jekyll & Hyde, as well as the premiere productions of David Williamson's highly acclaimed drama, Face to Face and Nick Enright's comedy smash hit, Daylight Saving.
